WINE DESCRIPTION
Patz & Hall Alder Springs Vineyard Pinot Noir is a single-vineyard expression hailing from Mendocino County. Grapes are harvested and crushed before undergoing alcoholic fermentations and malolactic fermentation in french oak barrels to best incorporate the oak flavors. Alongside contributing sweet spices to the rich red fruits, the oak provides gentle oxidation to the wine rounding out the tannins to produce a silky mouthfeel.

The North Coast of California has a long and storied history of winemaking, dating back to the mid-1800s.
