WINE DESCRIPTION
Established in 1990, Patrice Rion and Michèle initiated their domaine with Bourgogne Rouge Bons Batons and Chambolle Musigny les Cras. Patrice continued winemaking at Domaine Daniel Rion until 2000 when he expanded the domaine. His cuverie and cellar were built on their property, producing négociant cuvées alongside their vineyard holdings. Son Maxime recently joined the business. Over the years, new wines like Chambolle Musigny les Charmes and Nuits St Georges Clos des Argillières were added. Patrice innovates by training vines higher for better ripening, and he was among the first to use stelvin screwcaps. His wines are known for purity, harmony, and meticulous oak aging.
