Passopisciaro Passorosso is a red wine produced by Passopisciaro winery in the Etna appellation of Sicily, Italy. The vineyards are located on the slopes of Mount Etna, at altitudes ranging from 500 to 800 meters, covered by volcanic lava soil, and are planted with indigenous Nerello Mascalese grapes. The wine is made using traditional winemaking techniques, including hand harvesting, natural yeasts, and aging in oak barrels. The resulting wine is elegant and complex, with aromas of red fruits, spices, and a touch of smokiness. On the palate, it is full-bodied with a long finish and fine tannins.
