Bodegas Ostatu Rosado

Ostatu Rioja Rosé comes from the high-altitude vineyards of Ostatu, located in the Samaniego district of Rioja Alavesa. The region’s unique climate, influenced by both the Atlantic and Mediterranean, shapes the distinctive character of the wine. The vineyards, planted with old, bush-trained Tempranillo, Garnacha, and Viura vines, sit between 600m and 650m above sea level, contributing to the wine's structure and freshness. The grapes are farmed organically, and after a manual harvest, they are gently pressed and undergo a brief maceration. The wine ferments in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures using native yeasts. It is then aged on the lees and cold stabilized before bottling. The resulting wine is a crisp and refreshing rosé with vibrant red berry and citrus notes, complemented by subtle floral undertones and a touch of minerality.
