Wine Description:
This expressive white wine originates from Nieva, located in the rocky highlands of Segovia, where the grapevine phylloxera hasn't spread. The grapes thrive in sandy soils, surrounded by ancient pine forests, and although they yield low quantities, the fruit is highly concentrated. Harvesting is strictly done by hand, with a meticulous grape selection process both in the vineyard and the winery. Ossian Quintaluna undergoes fermentation in small steel tanks and then matures for 9 months on lees, partly in stainless steel and partly in large and small wooden barrels, combining the best of both worlds in terms of aging.

Wine Expert Note:

On the nose, Ossian Quintaluna offers a bouquet of tropical fruits such as pineapple, mango, and passion fruit, along with hints of citrus and floral notes. The aromas are vibrant and inviting, giving a sense of freshness and vitality. The palate of Ossian Quintaluna is equally impressive. It showcases a perfect balance between fruitiness and acidity, with flavors of ripe peach, lemon zest, and a touch of minerality. The wine has a medium body and a smooth, silky texture that coats the palate. Ossian Quintaluna is a versatile wine that can be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif or paired with a variety of dishes. Its crisp acidity makes it a great match for seafood, particularly grilled prawns or ceviche. It also complements light salads, creamy cheeses, and even spicy Asian cuisine.
