Ojai Pinot Noir is a lively and approachable blend that captures the essence of Santa Barbara County's unique climate, greatly influenced by coastal fog. This blend includes grapes from the most coastal vineyards, Presqu’ile and Puerta Del Mar, which were entirely destemmed, while Kessler-Haak and Fe Ciega incorporated a fraction of whole clusters during fermentation. After fermenting in open-top fermenters and aging on fine lees for nine months in French oak barrels, 7% new, this wine underwent a shorter élevage to preserve its playful and flirty character. It offers textural immediacy, making it exceptionally drinkable upon release, with a minimal addition of sulfur before bottling.
