WINE DESCRIPTION
Perched atop a hill in Serralunga d'Alba, this exceptional vineyard spans 0.7712 hectares with a southern exposure at an elevation of 360 meters. The vineyard features a mix of ages, with the central portion likely dating back to 1972, while higher and lower sections were planted in 1983 and 2007, respectively. Barolo Vignarionda production by the Oddero family began in 1985, with occasional breaks, yielding 2,700 to 3,000 bottles annually since 2010. Harvest occurs in the second week of October, followed by meticulous manual sorting. Fermentation lasts 25-28 days in 50-hectoliter vats, with further aging for approximately 40 months in Austrian oak.
