Nittardi Riserva Selezionata Chianti Classico embodies excellence, reserved for exceptional vintages. Cultivated on the southern slope of Vigna Alta, nearly 500 meters above sea level, it captures the essence of Nittardi's terroir. Guided by oenologist Carlo Ferrini, this Vino da Meditazione consistently earns acclaim from top wine guides. Comprising Sangiovese and Merlot, it reflects the region's rich soil of schist-like galestro and albarese. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, it ages at least for 24 months in French barrique and tonneaux, then in concrete vat, followed by bottle aging.
NOTES FROM VINOVOSS SOMMELIER
This Nittardi Chianti Classico Riserva is a fresh and vibrant expression of Sangiovese, with aromas of wild cherry, raspberry, violets and a hint of tobacco. On the palate, it is full-bodied and concentrated, with supple tannins and bright acidity. The finish is long and lingering, with notes of cherry, blackberry, and a touch of spice.
