Murgo Brut is a sparkling wine produced by the Murgo winery in the Etna region in Sicily, Italy. The vineyards are located on the slopes of the active volcano Mount Etna, which provides a unique volcanic soil type. The winery uses the indigenous Nerello Mascalese grapes and follows the traditional method of winemaking. After aging for at least 5 years on the lees, this wine is characterized by a pale straw color, fine and persistent perlage, and aromas of white flowers, citrus, and brioche.
