WINE DESCRIPTION
Muratie Martin Melck Cabernet Sauvignon is a premium wine from South Africa's Stellenbosch region produced by Muratie Estate, one of the oldest and most iconic wineries in the country. The wine is named after Martin Melck, the original owner of the estate in the 18th century. The vineyards are situated on the slopes of the Simonsberg mountain and benefit from a unique terroir characterized by decomposed granite and shale soils. The wine is made using traditional winemaking methods and aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. The style is rich and complex, with notes of blackcurrant, blackberry, and cedar, balanced by fine tannins and a long, smooth finish.
