In 2012, Napa Valley winemaker Dennis Cakebread ventured into a fresh Washington wine endeavor. Attracted by the exceptional wines and the sense of community in Walla Walla, he aimed to craft a distinctive red wine rooted in Washington State's heritage and terroir, primarily centered around Cabernet Sauvignon. This quest led to the birth of Mullan Road Cellars.
