WINE DESCRIPTION
Mount Eden Vineyards Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is a bold and complex red wine from the Santa Cruz Mountains, California. Mount Eden Vineyards is one of California's historic boutique wineries. Perched atop a mountain overlooking Silicon Valley, the spectacular vineyards sit above cloud line on shale soils that give rise to the finest Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon islands in the entire state. Since 1981, winemaker Jeffrey Patterson and his wife Ellie have settled on the mountain.
In 2007, the couple acquired an additional 55-acre vineyard in the Saratoga foothills, known as the
Domaine Eden was baptized.

Mount Eden Vineyards Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied and robust red wine, showing formidable tannins and a deep concentration of dark fruit flavors.On the nose there are aromas of blackberry, cassis, and black pepper, with hints of tobacco and leather. On the palate, the wine offers layers of dark cherry, blackberry, and spice, with a firm grip of tannins and a long, structured finish. An excellent example of a classic California Cabernet Sauvignon.

The North Coast of California boasts some of the most renowned vineyards and wineries in the world. Located in the northern part of the state, the North Coast is home to the Napa Valley, Sonoma County, and Mendocino County, all of which are recognised for their exceptional wines.
The North Coast of California has a long and storied history of winemaking, dating back to the mid-1800s. The region was first planted with vines by Spanish missionaries, who planted Mission grapes in the area. In the late 1800s, Italian immigrants began to settle in the region, bringing with them their own grape varieties and winemaking techniques.
