WINE DESCRIPTION

This Bourgogne Côte d'Or Pinot Noir is produced by Morey-Coffinet. Whilst the estate is located in Chassagne-Montrachet, the grapes for this wine are sourced from all over the Côte d'Or. Thibault Morey and his father Michel have converted their vineyards to organic and are practising biodynamics. Vinification takes place in a traditional manner and maturation in oak barrels lasts for approximately twelve months resulting in a varietally-expressive Pinot Noir that shows the delicacy and earthiness of Burgundy.

This wine is an approachable, delicate expression of Pinot Noir, revealing a pale ruby color.On the nose, it offers a bouquet of red berries, such as ripe strawberries and raspberries, intertwined with subtle floral notes. There is also a hint of earthiness, adding depth and complexity to the aroma. The palate is pure and well-defined, with silky tannins and a medium body. The flavors mirror the aromas, with bright red fruit flavors taking center stage on the moderate length finish.
