WINE DESCRIPTION
Monthelie Douhairet Porcheret Volnay 1er Cru 'En Champans' is an elegant, terroir-driven Pinot Noir hailing from the Volnay 1er Cru 'En Champans' vineyard. The organically-farmed vineyard feature well-drained limestone and clay soils. The grapes are hand-harvested from old vines, before being carefully sorted and destemmed. The wine is fermented in wood vats and undergoes around 18 months of maturation in French oak barrels prior to bottling.
