WINE DESCRIPTION
Mitchella Rambunctious is an unusual blend of Malbec, Syrah, and Petite Sirah produced in the warm Paso Robles area of Central Coast California. Mitchella Winery typically harvests, crushes and ferments the varieties separately in stainless steel vats before they are blended and matured in oak barrels that contributes layers of sweet baking spices to the wine. Additionally, the maturation process helps to round out the tannins and lends a velvety texture to the wine.

Mitchella Rambunctious presents a deep ruby-purple hue on pouring, with heavy staining of the tears suggesting a wine of significant weight.On the nose, it offers an array of ripe dark fruits, such as blackberries and blueberries, accompanied by subtle floral notes of violets. The palate is filled with juicy flavors of blackberries, complemented by hints of spice and a touch of dark chocolate. The wine has a full body with velvety tannins and fresh acidity. The wine is relatively persistent, culminating with a satisfyingly dry finish.
