Millton Clos de Ste. Anne Naboth's Vineyard Pinot Noir is an exemplary wine from the Gisborne appellation of New Zealand. Situated on steep northeast-facing slopes in the foothills of Poverty Bay, the vineyard features older plantings and a new collection of modern clones from “La Pouche.” Certified organic and biodynamic, and dry-farmed, this Pinot Noir is crafted with old-world inspiration, focusing on balance and subtle elegance rather than overwhelming fruitiness or heavy oak tannins. The hand-harvested and meticulously sorted fruit is chilled, destemmed, and fermented in small French oak cuves, with the young wine spending 28 days on skins before aging in specially selected French barriques. Unfiltered and unfined, this Pinot Noir presents a brilliantly gleaming hue with darkened edges, offering a refined and balanced palate.
