WINE DESCRIPTION
This Meyer Gewürztraminer hails from a southwest-facing block of the McLean Creek Road Vineyard located in the Okanagan Falls. Typically, the grapes are harvested in two passes, with the first batch gently whole bunch pressed. The later pick is destemmed, lightly crushed and left to soak with the skins for a short period to enhance the aromatic profile of the wine. Both lots are combined, and a long cool indigenous fermentation occurs in a mix of stainless steel vats and seasoned oak barrels. The wine is aged on lees for a short period before being bottled ready for release.
