WINE DESCRIPTION
Mercouri Estate Foloi is produced by Mercouri Estate that is located in the Western Peloponnese on the plateau of the Ichthis Peninsula.
This wine is composed predominantly of Red Roditis and a small proportion of Viognier that adds heady aromatics with notes of jasmine and honeysuckle. Grapes are sourced from vineyards located on Mount Foloi at high elevation and on hillsides of Aigion and the Northern Peloponnese. Vinification takes place at low temperatures in inert vessels to retain the inherent aromatic qualities of both varieties.

Mercouri Estate Foloi reveals a medium straw color.On the nose, it leaps from the glass with attractive aromas of citrus fruits of lemon and grapefruit, along with hints of green apple and flowers. These aromas continue onto the palate, where they are joined by a touch of minerality, stone fruit reminiscent of peach and apricot. These riper flavors are lifted by zesty acidity that adds a lively freshness to the wine. The wine is medium-bodied with a clean and vibrant finish, leaving a pleasant aftertaste.
