WINE DESCRIPTION
Melville Donna's Syrah is cold soaked for roughly a week to extract the delicate aromatics and enhance the color. The wine is fermented using whole clusters with extended skin and stem contact to increase the tannic structure. The wine is aged in neutral barrel with the aim of polishing the tannins without imparting oak flavor.

This Melville Donna's Syrah is a full-bodied, dark-fruited Syrah with aromas of ripe blackberry, chocolate, and earth.On the palate, it offers up flavors of blackberry, dark cherry, and black pepper, with a hint of smoky oak. The finish is long and lingering, with hints of dark fruit and spice all framed by the polished, velvety tannins.
