WINE DESCRIPTION
Matanzas Creek Merlot Bennett Valley is produced from grapes that are harvested before being crushed and fermented in inert vessels with careful focus on gentle extraction in order to create a velvety, full-bodied wine. The wines are matured for roughly a year and a half in oak barrels, of which around a third are new, to further round out the mouthfeel and contribute aromas of sweet spices.
