WINE DESCRIPTION
Marchetti Villa Bonomi is a Montepulciano dominated wine hailing from the Marche region of Italy. Named after the slopes of Mount Cònero, Marche’s best-known DOCG is located near the town of Ancona near the Adriatic Coast. The vineyards are managed organically, dry farmed and picked by hand. Maturation takes place in new barrels for around 18 months, with a further period in stainless steel vats and bottle before it is released for consumption.

Marchetti Villa Bonomi has a deep ruby-purple appearance, coating the glass and it releases enticing aromas of ripe dark fruits, such as black cherries, blackberries and plums, mingle with hints of spicy and herbal undertones, adding a touch of intrigue to the wine.Subtle earthy nuances and gentle sweet oak character further enhance its complexity. The palate presents a harmonious balance between flavors of blackberries, vanilla and a subtle herbal character, offset by fresh acidity that creates a lively sensation.
