WINE DESCRIPTION
Maipe Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is a mono-varietal wine produce from grapes that are sourced from Mendoza. The grapes are harvested and crushed to liberate the juice. The juice and skins are transferred to vats for the fermentation. The wines are then matured for roughly 12 months in a combination of French oak and concrete. These separate wines contribute a range of characteristics that give greater complexity and balance to the final blend.

Maipe Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve has an intense ruby color with heavy staining of the tears.The nose has vibrant aromas of ripe dark fruit like blackcurrant, blackberry and plum with layers of spice, and vegetal notes. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied with firm tannins and acidity that lends freshness to the wine. The flavors of blackberry, dark chocolate, and coffee carry on the lightly spicy, medium length finish.

Mendoza is the largest wine-producing region in Argentina, located in the foothills of the Andes Mountains.
