WINE DESCRIPTION
MacMurray Pinot Noir hails from the Russian River Valley in Sonoma. Following harvest, the Pinot Noir grapes were cold soaked to enhance extraction of color and delicate flavors. Selected yeast was used to carry out fermentation after which the free run juice was separated from the press and allowed to
settle for a few days. Aging on lees was used to add a smooth and luscious mouthfeel, with new and used French and American oak barrels providing sweet aromas of vanilla and
caramel.

This MacMurray Pinot Noir has a ruby-red hue and a bright, vibrant nose of ripe cherries, black plum, and a hint of toasted oak and spice.On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with soft, silky tannins and juicy acidity that carries the flavors of ripe cherry and raspberries through to a ripe fruity finish. This an attractive, fruit-forward and accessible Pinot Noir designed to give pleasure without being overly intellectual or complex.
