WINE DESCRIPTION
Cerretta, located just opposite the Baudana vineyard, which was one of the first estates to invest significantly in the area. Cerretta's soil predominantly comprises white clay with hints of limestone and sand, contributing to its characteristic Serralunga finesse and power. At Baudana, all wines mature in large Slavonian oak barrels of 15, 17, and 25 HL, slightly smaller than those at Vajra. Cerretta wines are known for their mineral-infused noses, featuring wild dark berries, violets, and pronounced stony, calcareous minerality. The mouthfeel offers a harmonious balance of structure and freshness, embodying the essence of this terroir.
