Louis Latour Beaune 1er Cru Aux Cras is made from Chardonnay grapes grown in the town of Beaune, which is known for its limestone-rich soils. After harvesting and pressing the grapes, the wine is fermented in oak barrels to create a rounder texture and extra depth. The wine is aged for roughly 8 to 10 months in oak barrels, a small proportion of which are new to add notes of sweet spices to complement the citrus flavors.
