WINE DESCRIPTION
Louis Jadot Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru 'Les Folatières' hails from the prestigious Puligny-Montrachet appellation in Burgundy, France, 'Les Folatières' vineyard is known for its limestone-rich soil located high on the hillside towards Chevalier-Montrachet. The grapes are hand harvested, meticulously sorted and gently pressed before the wine is fermented in oak barrels, a small proportion of which are new, to create a rounder texture and add notes of sweet spice. After fermentation is complete, the wine is aged for a further period in oak barrels before it is bottled ready for release.
