WINE DESCRIPTION
Louis Jadot is one of the great negociant houses in Burgundy with the know-how that comes from long experience. The Pinot Noir grapes used to make this wine come from the Premier Cru vineyard of Les Saint-Georges, located in the Nuits Saint Georges appellation and is one of the top-rated vineyards in the region. A long maceration time and maturation in small, new, French oak barrels result in a wine with a powerful structure and marked forest floor character. Such an intense and characterful wine requires similar food making this wine well suited to the dinner table.

This Louis Jadot Nuits-Saint-Georges Les Saint-Georges has a complex aroma of blackberry and cherry with forest floor complexity.The palate is medium-bodied but structured with vibrant acidity and dense silky tannins. The finish is long and evolving with truffle and sweet spice nuance. This wine is drinkable now but will develop more earthy nuance as the tannins integrate further into the wine over the next 15 years. Serve with beef wellington and madeira sauce.
