WINE DESCRIPTION

Ted Lemon is a prominent figure in Californian winemaking. Graduating in viticulture at 25, he remarkably became the cellar master at Domaine Roulot in Meursault. Returning to the USA, Lemon sought parcels mirroring Burgundian terroir in climate and style, finding them in Sonoma Coast and Anderson Valley. California's cool climate and Pacific maritime influence allow grapes to slowly ripen, imparting distinctive acidity. Combined with biodynamics, this forms the winning principle for Ted's wines, reflecting California's new wave characterized by coolness, elegance, freshness, and terroir typicity. All his wines undergo spontaneous fermentation and are bottled unclarified and unfiltered.
