Librandi Megonio is a distinguished wine crafted by the renowned producer from the Tenuta Rosaneti in the Rocca di Neto/Casabona region. Its excellence stems from the unique terroir of the Vigna Megonio cru, nestled among the highest hills of the estate, embraced by olive trees. Cultivated exclusively from Magliocco grapes on clay-limestone soil, the vines are meticulously trained in a cordone speronato system with a density of 5000 plants per hectare, ensuring a yield of 65 quintals or 45 hectoliters per hectare. Harvested in the first decade of October, the grapes undergo fermentation in stainless steel tanks with a 15-day maceration period. The wine is then aged for 12 months in Allier barriques, followed by 6 months of bottle maturation before release. Librandi Megonio boasts a refined style, characterized by its depth, complexity, and harmonious integration of flavors.
