WINE DESCRIPTION
Liberty Creek Merlot is a simple, fruit-forward red produced from grapes that can be sourced from all over the state of California, allowing for greater consistency of both style and quality year after year. The grapes are machine harvested, crushed and transferred to inert vessels to begin fermentation. The alcoholic fermentation occurs in inert vessels at lower temperatures in order to minimise extraction to produce a gently tannic, fruit-forward wine.

Liberty Creek Merlot has a medium ruby color.On the nose, this Merlot offers simple, aromas of ripe black fruit suggestive of blackberries and plums, accompanied by a hint of spice and milk chocolate. These aromas continue to unfold on the palate, where the wine displays soft, integrated tannins and acidity that provide balance. The flavors of blackberry and plum are complemented by notes of sweet milk chocolate and a touch of spice on the short finish.
