Truly stellar Shiraz that exceeded my expectations. Visiting the winery in Bolgheri, Italy was a highlight of my trip. The sommelier's recommendation was spot on, and I was thrilled to receive a bottle of this vintage.\n\nAfter carefully opening the bottle, the aromas of opaque cherry, blueberry, plum, vanilla, bell pepper, tobacco, and oak emerged, followed by a full-bodied touch and a gentle finish. The tannins have mellowed significantly over time, and the tartness has even nicely. The spicy accents lingered, leaving a delightful finish.\n\nThis superb Shiraz is a must-try for anyone looking to journey the best of Italian wine. A concentrated and full-bodied Syrah with a detailed nose featuring inky fruit notes, spicy undertones, and a gentle wisp of white pepper. The impression is well-balanced, with a smooth, fruity touch and a contenting finish. The wine is finished with a nuanced note of cedar and vanilla, leaving a creamy aftertaste.

The 2009 vintage is a superior choice, with a more harmonious olfactory profile featuring red fruit, violet, and licorice notes. On the palate, it reveals a balanced stability of sweetness and acidity, accompanied by a fulfilling tannic backbone and a lingering finish.
