WINE DESCRIPTION
LaSelva Morellino di Scansano is a fresh, approachable, dry red wine that hails from the Morellino di Scansano appellation in Tuscany, Italy. The wine is composed mostly from Sangiovese with a touch of Merlot that adds roundness and plummy fruit notes. After harvesting, the bunches are destemmed, pressed and fermented in steel tanks using controlled temperatures to create a gently extracted wine that should be enjoyed in its youth. The wine undergoes a period of around 3 months of ageing in steel tanks, before being blended and bottled.
