WINE DESCRIPTION
This Larkmead Dr. Olmo is an incredibly complex and graceful Cabernet Sauvignon from the renowned Larkmead Estate. Larkmead Vineyards is practically on the border between St. Helena and Calistoga. The vines are planted on 300 meters of an old riverbed with gravel topsoil. Above that, the soil consists mainly of sand, clay and small pebbles. This permeable subsoil provides a rare quality otherwise only found in vines planted on slopes - minerality and concentration are the result.
