WINE DESCRIPTION
Lambardi Brunello di Montalcino is made using 100% Sangiovese Grosso in accordance with the regulations. The grapes used for this wine are made from mostly old vines at high elevation, facing northeast which helps slow ripening and retain acidity. The winemaking is very traditional. Grape are harvested and de-stemmed, whilst fermentation occurs in large stainless steel tanks. The wine is then transferred to neutral Botti (oak barrels) for two and a half years in barrel and in bottle until 5 years after the vintage.

On the palate, it showcases a harmonious balance between its fruit, acidity, and tannins with flavors of red berries and cherries, accompanied by hints of tobacco, leather, and earthy undertones. This wine is full-bodied and age-worthy with a long finish.
