WINE DESCRIPTION
La Zorra Tempranillo-Rufete comes from the Sierra de Salamanca appellation in Spain. The grapes are sourced from old vines that tend to produce low yields of small, concentrated berries. On arrival at the winery, the grapes are sorted and destemmed followed by gentle crushing. The must is transferred to a vat to undergo an alcoholic fermentation at a controlled low temperature in stainless steel vats. The wine is barrel aged for around 11 months in a combination of French and American oak prior to bottling.
