WINE DESCRIPTION
La Rocherie Pinot Noir is an easy-drinking red-fruited Pinot Noir from the larger, overarching Languedoc region located in the South of France. The grapes are sourced from a number of vineyards which helps create balance and consistency of style year after year. The grapes are crushed and fermented at moderate temperatures in inert vessels to retain the purity of fruit and create a gently tannic, easy-going red wine without oak influence that risks masking the delicate red fruit profile.

La Rocherie Pinot Noir has a pale ruby appearance.The nose reveals notes of ripe red fruit hinting at cherry, raspberry and strawberry. Alongside the fruit, there is the merest suggestion of spice and flowers. The palate is medium-bodied and round with a smooth texture and soft tannins that are barely perceptible. The simple red fruit flavors are present on the relatively brief, albeit pleasant finish. This wine would best be served lightly chilled, enjoyed on its own, or with a range of poultry and fish dishes.
