Keermont Pondok Rug Cabernet Franc is a premium red wine produced by Keermont Vineyards, in the Stellenbosch region of South Africa. The wine is made from 100% Cabernet Franc grapes grown in a single, tiny vineyard located on the slopes of Helderberg Mountain. The vineyard is located 400m above sea level creating a cool microclimate that contributes to the refreshing acidity and sense of balance. The winemaking process involves careful selection of the grapes, hand sorting, and aging in French oak barrels for over a year. The resulting wine is a full-bodied, elegant, and complex wine with notes of blackcurrant, black cherry, and hints of leather. It is a perfect wine for those who appreciate the aromatic fruit and elegance of Cabernet Franc.
