Jérôme Chézeaux Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru 'Les Pruliers' is a masterpiece from Burgundy’s celebrated Côte de Nuits, crafted with meticulous care and tradition. This exclusive Premier Cru vineyard, 'Les Pruliers,' once home to wild plum trees, lies on the sunlit, rocky clay soils of southern Nuits-Saint-Georges, benefitting from ideal east-facing slopes at 250-270 meters altitude. Jérôme Chézeaux hand-harvests each grape, ensuring quality from vine to winery, where they are carefully destemmed and double-sorted. A slow, cold maceration starts the 18 to 21 days of fermentation, which includes manual punch-downs and pump-overs for enhanced character.
