Guillaume Tardy, with only 5.5 hectares of vineyards in Vosne-Romanée, is one of Burgundy's smallest producers, specializing exclusively in Pinot Noir. Formerly managing the vineyards for Méo-Camuzet, Guillaume now focuses on cooler, higher-altitude terroirs and smaller appellations. His wines emphasize fruit, with most grapes destemmed following the techniques of Henri Jayer. The result is powerful yet charming wines, extracting remarkable complexity from lesser-known appellations.
