WINE DESCRIPTION
JAX Vineyards Taureau Y3 is named Taureau, which was the name of the Jackson family’s prized bull. This is a blend of approximately 65% Cabernet Sauvignon 30% Merlot 5% Cabernet Franc hailing from the Napa Valley. Fruit is handpicked, sorted and cold-soaked immediately after harvesting. Fermentation is carried out in temperature controlled stainless steel vats. Following fermentation, this wine is aged in 35% new French oak for approximately 20 months resulting in a wine that showcases a plethora of dark fruit flavors seasoned with sweet baking spices.

JAX Vineyards Taureau Y3 is a red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc.On the nose, the wine exudes enticing aromas of ripe blackberries, dark cherries, and hints of cedar. These aromas are complemented by subtle notes of vanilla and spice, adding complexity to the bouquet.
The palate is rich and full-bodied, with velvety tannins that provide a smooth and elegant mouthfeel. Flavors of blackcurrant, plum, and black cherry dominate, accompanied by layers of dark chocolate and espresso. The wine's well-integrated oak contributes to its overall structure and adds a touch of toasty vanilla.
