WINE DESCRIPTION
Jam Jar Moscato is an aromatic, fruit-forward wine from grapes grown in the warm Olifants River region of South Africa. Here, the grapes are able to achieve full flavor ripeness year after year. The grapes are harvested, crushed and the resulting juice was left on skins for a short period to increase the aromatic intensity. Vinification occurred at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks. The fermentation was halted prematurely to retain sweetness to enhance the fruity character of the wine.

Jam Jar Moscato is upfront, immediately offering notes of ripe fruits, including peaches and luscious mango.These enticing aromas are complemented by delicate floral notes, such as acacia and honeysuckle. The palate is a little less intense than the nose but the ripe fruit flavors are still present with ripe peaches and tropical fruits taking center stage. The wine's natural sweetness is just balanced by the soft acidity, which prevents the finish from being cloying and overly sweet.
