WINE DESCRIPTION
Isaac Fernandez Rios de Tinta is a rich, oaked red wine made from a local clone of the Tempranillo variety known as Tinta de Toro. The wine comes from the appellation of Ribera del Duero, located within the autonomous region of Castilla y León. Grapes are hand harvested and sorted prior to arriving at the winery. The bunches are de-stemmed and lightly crushed, before being fermented with skins in stainless steel vats. Finally, the wine is aged for several months in stainless steel tanks prior to bottling to retain purity of fruit and freshness.

Isaac Fernandez Rios de Tinta typically has a deep ruby color with purple hues.On the nose, it shows excellent purity of fruit, offering intense aromas of ripe black fruits such as blackberries, plums and black cherries. On the palate, this wine is full-bodied and well-structured, with smooth tannins and a good level of acidity. The flavors mirror the aromas, with a dominant presence of black fruits, complemented by notes of leather, tobacco and a subtle earthiness that is present on the moderately long finish.
