WINE DESCRIPTION
Iron Horse Native Yeast Chardonnay is produced from grapes that had some skin contact in the press with the aim of enhancing flavor extraction. Fermentation takes place in new French oak barrels to fully integrate the sweet oak flavors. Frequent lees stirring, or ‘batonnage’ occurs to contribute texture and enhance the mouthfeel giving the wine greater mid-palate weight and breadth.
