WINE DESCRIPTION
Il Roverone Recioto della Valpolicella Classico is a refined and exciting dessert wine, inviting you to explore a world of fragrances. Produced by the renowned Speri winery, it is made from a blend of Corvina Veronese and Rondinella grapes. The vineyard is located in “La Roggia” in San Pietro in Cariano at an altitude of 140 meters. The soil is predominantly loamy and the vines are cultivated using a modified pergola Veronese system. The grapes are hand-selected in early October and then dried for 110 days, losing about half of their initial weight and concentrating their sugars. The wine undergoes vinification starting in late January, with fermentation in stainless steel tanks . After separating the skins in early March, the wine is aged in 500-liter tonneaux for 24 months and further refined in the bottle.
