WINE DESCRIPTION
Husch Vineyards Pinot Noir is a delightful red wine produced in the Anderson Valley appellation of Mendocino County in California. This wine has a complex composition, with its grapes coming from several vineyards in the region, each with its unique soil composition and climate. The grapes are carefully nurtured and harvested, then fermented in open top fermenters and aged in French oak barrels. This results in a medium-bodied, ruby-colored Pinot Noir, with a bouquet of ripe cherries, cranberries and baking spices, and a palate of bright fruits, balanced acidity and a long, silky finish. The North Coast of California has a long and storied history of winemaking, dating back to the mid-1800s. The region was first planted with vines by Spanish missionaries, who planted Mission grapes in the area. In the late 1800s, Italian immigrants began to settle in the region, bringing with them their own grape varieties and winemaking techniques.
