WINE DESCRIPTION
Hubert Lignier Morey-St-Denis 1er Cru 'La Riotte' is a premium red wine produced by the renowned winemaker Hubert Lignier. The wine comes from the Morey-St-Denis appellation, which is known for producing some of the finest Pinot Noir grapes in the world. The vineyard features steep slopes and a limestone and clay soil composition that is best suited for this variety. The winemaking process involves careful selection of the grapes, fermentation is carried out with partly whole clusters for extra complexity and better tannins structure. Aging in carried out in oak barrels, ca. 30% of which are new. The resulting wine is elegant and complex, with a silky texture and a long, smooth finish, making it a perfect choice for special occasions or pairing with fine cuisine.
