WINE DESCRIPTION
Hobo Zinfandel is produced by The Hobo Wine Company which is a family owned and independently operated winery. The grapes were sourced from a number of vineyards within Dry Creek Valley in Sonoma County. This region experiences a warm climate which is perfect for heat-tolerant Zinfandel to thrive. The individual vineyards were fermented separately before being blended and aged in French oak foudres (large barrels) which helped to soften the tannins and contribute subtle spicy notes.

This Hobo Zinfandel has an intense ruby to purple hue with heavy tearing.The wine is a bold and vibrant with aromas of jammy blackberry and plum. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and round with a rich and velvety texture and notes of dark chocolate and espresso, coupled with a hint of pepper. The ripe, succulent fruit profile is balanced by well-integrated acidity and supple tannins to create a well-rounded finish that lingers on the palate.
