Like all wines from Heinrich, the Chardonnay Leithaberg 2022 is filled unfiltered and bottled with minimal sulphur producing a wine that is pure and well-defined with notes of lemon, peach and chalky minerality.
NOTES FROM VINOVOSS SOMMELIER
Heinrich Chardonnay Leithaberg offers enticing aromas of ripe stone fruits, such as peach and nectarine, along with hints of citrus and vanilla. These aromas are beautifully complemented by subtle notes of toasted oak, adding depth and complexity to the wine. The palate is taut and medium-bodied, with a creamy texture that coats the mouth. Flavors of ripe pear, apple, and lemon zest dominate, accompanied by a touch of hazelnuts and a hint of minerality. The well-integrated oak provides a gentle spice and adds layers of complexity to the wine. The wine has a long and refreshing finish leaving a lasting impression of chalkiness and lemon zest.

Devann Laudino
Luscious and deep oaked chardonnay with a nuanced bouquet, featuring layers of butter, mushrooms, and minerals, augmented by delicate layers of smoke and salt. The flavor is well-balanced, with a gentle mouthfeel and a fulfilling acidity, accompanied by hints of ripe pear, peach, and rotting gardenia, as well as a wisp of bitterness and a lingering finish.

Bold and elegant Chardonnay from Austria, demonstrating the region's unique organic and biodynamic practices. Aged for 29 months on its lees in large oak casks, it develops a subtle minerality and a long, comforting aftertaste.
