WINE DESCRIPTION
Hanna Cabernet Sauvignon is a red wine from the Alexander Valley AVA in California. The vineyard features shallow gravel soils that force the vine into ripening grapes rather than growing vegetation. The winemaking is very much hands-on with i ndovidual tanks pressed off based on the outcomes of daily tastings. The wine then spends more than 18 months in a mix of roughly half new French and Hungarian oak. The wine is full bodied amd slightly more rustic in style than the the best of Californian Cabernet Sauvignon but still shows well given the sensible price making this a good introduction to Californian Cabernet.
