NOTES FROM VINOVOSS SOMMELIER
This exquisite fortified wine, known as Ratafia, draws its name from a preservation method dating back to the 13th century, reminiscent of the way meat was conserved.Instead of salt, fruit juice was employed for preservation. Crafted using the Soléra method, a gradual blending of various vintages akin to the traditions of Madeira and Port, the result is reminiscent of the taste profile found in a meticulously aged vintage Champagne, exuding exceptional maturity and complexity.
